ENROLMENTS

Here are enrolment forms and the Prep Information Booklet. Please feel free to browse and take the time to read about Olinda Primary School and how we are building for a better future!

Our school has the best student to teacher ratio in the Dandenong Ranges and our students are excelling in all areas of learning. We offer a comprehensive curriculum with a strong focus on Literacy and Numeracy. The students set personal learning goals every term and reflect on them as part of their daily routine. As part of our reporting to parents, we offer quarterly three way conferences with your child and their classroom teacher. This is where the students share their new goals with their parents and reflect on how they went on their previous goals. Our three way conferences see the Teacher, Student and Parent planning together and paving the way for educational successes for now and the future!

Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria. Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined based on your permanent residential address. Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy (https://www2.education.vic.gov.au/pal/enrolment/guidance/placement-policy) to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.

Foundation (Prep) enrolments

The Department of Education has a statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline. The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Olinda Primary School. You can find information and resources about the enrolment timeline at: Enrolling in Foundation (Prep) https://www.vic.gov.au/enrolling-foundation-prep.

If you are interested in enrolling at our school, please download and complete and Enrolment Form.

Our school does not request any payments or contributions, and all services are provided at no cost to parents/carers.
