Rosie visited our class today

Today Amanda, Samantha's mum, dropped in with Rosie the guinea pig.

She let the students have a hold while she explained the special ways we need to care for a pet.  Ryley shared a book on guinea pigs that he had been reading and we all learned a lot about habitat, food, care and grooming of a small animal.  I was particularly proud of Marcus who overcame the fear of being near the guinea pig, and he even had a small pat.  Thank you for sharing your pet with us Amanda, you are always welcome in our classroom!
